Sharing From Volunteers

I would like to share my experience of some of the projects that I have been part back in Nov-2013 with reference to Bhavin modha i would like to do something for society and people. One of my brother Bhavin Modha suggested me to join MAD and I have participated volunteer’s meeting at that time and I have seen the combination of youth and elders are there to make a difference in the society.One good thing that I have seen that MAD is always open for suggestions and ideas to make organization better with 5 Year boy to 90 years old age Baa/Dada.

I would like to share my experience of some of the projects that I have been part and it was heart tuching words by one of old age BAA @ Chakde project..

ઘડપણ કોને મોકલ્યું રે પ્રભુ ઘડપણ ઘડપણ કોને મોકલ્યું દીકરાને વહુએ વારી લીધા અને દીકરીને જમાય તેડી ગયા બચ્યું આ સાલું ઘડપણ …..

ક્ષન ભર થંભી ગયેલુ મારું મન “બા” ના શબ્દો થી ઉભરી આવ્યું “ચકદે” માં મારું મન પરીવર્તન કરનાર એ બા હજુ પણ આંખો સામે રમે છે ,અકલ્પનીય શબ્દહીન અનુભવ જે અનુભવ્યો એ હજુ યાદ છે ઘરના વડીલો નું માન સમ્માન અને આદર સત્કાર શું છે એ MAD માં આવીને લોકોને સમજવાની જરૂર છે અહી સમાજ સેવા સાથે એક સંદેશ પણ આપવાનું કામ કરે છે, “ચકદે” માં વડીલો સાથેની પ્રભાત કાળથી સંધ્યા પસાર કરી અનેરો લાહવો લેવાની તક ફરી આવે તે સમય ની રાહ જોવ છુ , 89 વરસ ના દાદા એ જતી વેળાએ કહેલા શબ્દો અમારા ઘરડા ઘર ના 365 દિવસ માંથી આ દિવસ અમેલોકો હટાવી દેશું જે અવિસ્મરણીય છે આજની ખુશીનો લાહવો ફરી તમે આપો અને બધાને આપતા રહો તેવા અમારા આશીર્વચન .

મિત્રો અવા ઘણા કર્યો છે જે અહી તમને જીવન ઉત્સહિત કરવા પ્રેરે છે

મને યાદ છે કે અમે બધા મિત્રો દર રવિવારે સી.જી.રોડ પર હેપ્પી સ્ટ્રિટ જતા હતા, ત્યા. મેકિંગ અ ડિફરન્સ સંસ્થા દ્રારા પરીંદા પ્રોજેક્ટ દ્રારા પક્ષી માટે કૂંડા નુ વિતરણ વિના મુલ્યે થતુ હતુ. મને આ રીતે એક અબનોલ જીવની સેવા થતી જોઈ મને પણ આ સેવામા જોડવાનુ મન થયુ. અને હુ. રાજ્પથ ક્લબમા ૦૫.૦૫.૨૦૧૫ ના રોજ પરીંદા પ્રોજેક્ટ ના ભાગ રુપે પક્ષી માટે કૂંડા ના વિતરણ મા જોડયો. ત્યા મારા જેવા બિજા ઘણાબધા સ્વયંસેવકો ને સેવા કરતા જોઈને કાયમ આવી ઈવેન્ટમા આવીને ભાગ લઇશ એવો સંકલ્પ કર્યો અને અને આ સંસ્થા સાથે જોડાઇને સંસ્થા દ્રારા નફો ક્માવવાની ભાવના વિના સંસ્થા દ્રારા ચાલતી દરેક પ્રવ્રુતિઓમા ભાગ લઇ સારુ કાયઁ ક્યુઁ હોવાથી મનમા શાંતિનો અનુભવ થયો. અનવે ત્યાર પછીની બીજી બધી ઈવેન્ટ જેમ કે વ્રુક્ષારોપણ, રક્તદાનમા પણ જોડયો અને આગળ આવનાર દરેક ઈવેન્ટમા પણ ભાગ લઈશ.

આ સંસ્થા મા જોડવા પાછળ નો મારો હેતુ તો એ જ છે કે અત્યારની આ ફાસ્ટલાઇફમાં આમ તો રુપીયા કમાવવા સીવાય કોઇને બિજો ટાઇમ નથી પણ આ સંસ્થા સાથે જોડાઈને સેવા કરીને પોતાના અનુકુળ સમયે થોડુ પુણ્ય પણ કમાઈ લઈયે.

I would like to share my feelings of my involvement with project Khilta Phool and Chak de. The distributions of Jackets to the young one”s was an exhilarating experience,I felt the warmth and coziness of the blessings of the children in abundance, and the smiles on their faces gave me tons of happiness.
Chak De was another event which gave me immense satisfaction and joy seeing the old people having a nice time with the younger lot. Their participation in various games organized showed that even though they were physically infirm mentally they were young at heart. Every smile of their”s was like a blessing.

First thing I would like to say that I am not that good to explain the things which I feel. But still I am trying my best to convert my feeling into word.

I have joined MAD back in Dec-2013 as I wanted to do something for society and people. One of my friend suggested me to join MAD and I have participated volunteer’s meeting at that time and I have seen the combination of youth and elders are there to make a difference in the society.One good thing that I have seen that MAD is always open for suggestions and ideas to make organization better.

I got acquainted with people who have devoted their whole lives for the betterment of society; with no self -gain or greedy motive behind it. They chose social work as their profession; because they wanted to do it, not for gaining publicity or making money; but for the satisfaction of joy of giving. Respect for them truly.

I would like to share my experience of some of the projects that I have been part of.

Winter Jackets distibution

I have distributed jackets on the street with my friends and family and the experience of giving and seeing the reaction of kids after getting jackets was awesome.We as a TEAM MAD have also distributed jackets in some schools and some organizations.

Tree Plantation

By planting trees and enrolling kids into this, I feel like the future would be green and people are so much supportive and help us to plant trees and they make sure that they will take care of the trees by watering and nurturing them.

Blood Donation

Blood donation is the other project in which we are trying to help needy people by donating blood with red cross.We welcomed each and every person who are willing to donate blood and set an example in the society by giving someone’s life.

My volunteering at MAD taught me many things like

Managing Projects With Small Things, Organizing Events And Enrolling People Is Not A Easy Job,You Need Lots Of Patience For It.

To See A Person Smile, And To Know You Contribute Something For That Smile, Gives Ultimate Joy And Internal Satisfaction.

Not Everything Is Done To Get Returns ; Social Work And Charity Has A Value.

And many other things..

Volunteering in mad Remind me who I m. It gives me fulfillment and satisfaction.Feel connected with universe.Full of Gratitude I love my self.
